Our Eiruv was recently established with the help of our president Mr. Anthony Bock. It encompasses a three and a half mile Square around our neighborhood. Rav Nuta Greenblatt of Memphis, TN, was here to oversee the Halachic aspects of the Eiruv construction.
We are very excited about having an Eiruv,as this not only allows young families to bring their children to Shul,It also allows tourists and people who need help with walking a way to get to Shul on Shabbos.
Unfortunately we do not have a hotel within our eruv. The closest non-strip hotel is the Homestead Suites located at : 3045 S. Maryland Parkway (about a mile walk from our shul) the phone # is (702) 369-1414. Mention Shaarei Tefilla for a discount. In addition, the two other closest hotels are the Las Vegas Hilton (702-732-5111) and the Stratosphere (888-236-7495).
If you need to make arrangements for Shabbos hospitality/meals, please call our shul at least a week ahead of time. If we can, we will be glad to help you.
